A MUCH-loved member of staff at a Lutterworth secondary school has been given a fond farewell after 41 years of service.
Glenis Lewin started working at Lutterworth High School in August 1984 and has worked as a valued member of the catering team and also as a cleaner.
A former student herself, having joined the school back in 1971, she fondly recalls serving tea to the Headteacher, and still remembers every word of the old school hymn.
Headteacher Julian Kirby said: “Glenis is not only a much-loved colleague but also a cherished part of the wider school community.
“We are so grateful for her hard work, kindness, and the countless contributions she has made. Thank you, Glenis – you will be greatly missed!”
