Man and boy arrested after drugs and a knife seized in Rugby town centre

A MAN and a boy have been arrested in connection with drugs offences following an incident in Rugby.

Officers on patrol in Cross Street on Monday afternoon noticed two people acting suspiciously. A quantity of drugs – believed to be crack cocaine – and a lock knife were seized by officers.

A 15-year-old boy from Kettering was arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife/bladed article and being concerned in the supply of drugs. He has been bailed until June 8.

A 34-year-old man from Daventry arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of drugs was bailed until June 3.
