A RUGBY man has been charged with two historic sex offences – the earliest of which took place over 30 years ago.
Ronald Phillip Dickens, 46, of Phipps Avenue was charged with the rape of a female over 16, which occurred in November 1985.
He was also charged with the sexual assault of a female over 16, which occurred in August 1997.
Both offences were committed in Rugby.
He appeared before Leamington Magistrates Court on Thursday (March 24) and was released on conditional bail. He will appear before Warwick Crown Court on Thursday April 21.
