A CAR chase ended with the arrest of a man who has been charged with a burglary in Hillmorton alongside dangerous driving offences.
Police received a report of a burglary in Lyndhurst Road at around midnight on Sunday (January 13).
Operational Patrol Unit officers from Rugby located the victim’s stolen car less than an hour later, and after a short pursuit arrested and detained the driver.
He was identified as Martin Jones, 27, of no fixed address, and was later charged with burglary, theft of a motor vehicle, dangerous driving, driving while disqualified and driving with no insurance.
He was remanded in custody and was due to appear at Warwickshire Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday (January 15).
The victim’s stolen property was recovered and returned.
