AN UNPROVOKED assault in Brownsover left the victim in hospital with injuries to his face, arm and chest.
The victim, a man in his 40s, was walking along the footpath between Mill Road and Crowthorns Road between 6.30pm and 9pm on Sunday (March 1).
He was approached by another man who spoke to him before assaulting him.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Police want to speak to anyone who has any information, or may have been in the area at the time.
