Man punched as he tried to break up fight in Rugby town centre

A GOOD Samaritan was punched as he tried to break up a fight in the town centre last weekend.

At around 1am on Saturday (December 17), a man witnessed an altercation between two other men at a North Street taxi rank.

When the onlooker tried to intervene, he was punched by one of the men – injuring his face and jaw.

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw the incident and the victim of the altercation.
