A ‘SHOCKING’ mass brawl in Brownsover saw a man rushed to hospital with a stab wound.
Police were called to a large group of people fighting with weapons on Hollowell Way in Brownsover at around 7.15pm on Monday (May 14).
The 20-year-old suffered a stab wound to his abdomen and is in a stable condition in hospital.
An 18-year-old man from Rugby has been arrested on suspicion of assault.
Inspector Michael Huntley said: “This was large scale disorder in daylight in a residential area. It will have undoubtedly been shocking for anyone who witnessed it.
“Fortunately, nobody was more seriously injured and we will be working hard to identify the others involved and bring them in for questioning.”
