A MAN suffered a broken hip after being attacked in a Rugby pub.
It happened in the Half Moon pub in Lawford Road around 5.30pm on Wednesday.
Police believe the 56-year-old victim was attacked following a heated exchange of words.
The victim said he fell through a doorway after being pushed in the chest by his attacker. He was taken to hospital by ambulance.
Police staff investigator Gemma Reamsbottom from Rugby CID said: “I’m appealing for anyone who was in the pub at the time and witnessed this incident to get in touch with us.”
