Masked burglars threatened Lutterworth residents with knife, crowbar and baseball bat

MASKED armed burglars threatened the occupants of a Lutterworth home before driving off in their Audi.

Three men wearing balaclavas broke into a house in Hill Drive and threatened the two occupants with a knife, a crowbar and a baseball bat at around 8.15pm on Sunday (January 27).

They took the keys to an Audi RS6 which was parked on the driveway and drove off. It is not believed anything else was stolen.

Det Cons James Collins said: “This appears to have been a completely unprovoked incident where the occupants of the house have been threatened in their own home.

“It is believed the men drove off in the direction of Lutterworth Road. The car that was taken – a grey Audi RS6 – has a private registration plate and would therefore probably stand out to many people.

“I’m appealing for anyone who has seen a car they believe may be the one stolen to come forward.”
