THE RIBBON has been cut on a new nursing community at a Rugby care home.
Mayor Maggie O’Rourke was the guest of honour at the opening of newly refurbished nursing facilities at Anya Court Care Home.
The event, attended by local businesses and care professionals, included tours of the community and speeches from Coun O’Rourke, Wendy Fowler from the Nursing and Midwifery Council, and Carol Judd-Winn, the Lead District Nurse for Rugby.
Michelle Sides, the General Manager at the Dunchurch Road care home, said: “I am delighted that our nursing community is now officially open and I’m incredibly grateful to those who attended our special event to show their support.”
