Men arrested after Saturday afternoon incidents at shopping park

THREE men were arrested on suspicion of offences including threats to kill, assault and criminal damage in relation to incidents which took place at Elliots Field Retail Park on a Saturday afternoon last month.

On Saturday July 7 at 2.20pm, a silver car is believed to have pulled up near Debenhams and a discussion took place between a group of asian and white males. The second incident is believed to have occurred near Costa Coffee also involving a group of asian and white males.

Following the incident, police arrested a 24 year old man from Rugby on suspicion of causing harrassment, alarm or distress under Section 5 of the Public Order Act.

A 19 year old man from Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire was also arrested on suspicion of threats to kill, and a 41 year old male, also from Gerrards Cross, on suspicion of assault, ABH and criminal damage.




The three men were detained overnight for questioning and released on police bail on July 8 pending further enquiries.
