A LIFE-changing windfall has been scooped by a Rugby man.
David Tanser won £25,000 after his postcode was drawn as a winner of the People’s Postcode Lottery.
The prize certainly helped the 48-year-old retail worker to enjoy the holidays, coming just eight days before Christmas.
And he admitted he was surprised to claim a prize so soon, after only signing up one month ago thanks to a TV advert.
He said: “A few days before I got my cheque my car broke down, but now I don’t have to worry about the repairs – I can get a new car.
“My partner and three step-children were certainly treated to some nice presents too.”
To date, players of the People’s Postcode Lottery have raised £161million for charity.
