A MOTORCYCLIST died after crashing his bike in Swinford on Saturday (January 18).
A man in his 30s crashed a black Aprilia motorcycle at around 4.30pm in Stanford Road, near Lilbourne Lane.
He sustained serious injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Det Const Louise McMahon is investigating the collision and appealing for witnesses.
She said: “At the time of the collision, the motorcyclist was travelling southbound towards Stanford.
“I would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or saw the motorcycle beforehand to get in touch.
“I’d also like to speak to anyone who may have captured anything related to the incident on their dash cam or CCTV.”
