MUSICIANS in Rugby are being invited to take part in an online festival to celebrate the 20th anniversary of Rugby Art Gallery and Museum, and to showcase the town’s creativity.
Rugby Live, which takes place from Friday July 31 to Sunday August 2, will feature storytellers, poets, performers, and live music performances alongside pre-recorded acts, streamed on social media.
Storytellers, poets and performers will also feature – and the call has gone out for local music acts to get involved.
Chosen artists will have a live set recorded at a studio in Rugby, which will then be broadcast on social media.
Organisers are looking for well-rehearsed solo artists and bands. Original artists will be given priority over cover artists.
Everyone who is selected will have permanent access to the footage after the broadcast.
Acts must be available between Friday July 31 to August 2.
Visit www.ragm.co.uk/rugbylive for more information and to apply, before the closing date of Friday July 10.
