A LOVE of nature has inspired a new art exhibition at Rugby Art Gallery and Museum’s Floor One Gallery.
Market Harborough-based artist Cindy Jones will open her first Rugby solo exhibition Birds and Birches on Saturday (February 16).
Cindy, who primarily uses oil paint on canvas, said: “I am inspired to paint in order to create visual representations of the things I most enjoying seeing in nature.
“For this exhibition I have focused on two themes – my love of the simple, striking structure of birch trunks, and the beauty of waterbirds in their natural environment.”
The exhibition, which runs until Thursday February 28, will feature colouring activities for children during half-term.
