New day support service for adults with learning disabilities opens in Lutterworth

A NEW day support service for adults with learning disabilities has opened in Lutterworth.

Forging Futures, based at High Point on Market Street, opened its doors today (Friday February 2).

Having already opened at High Point in December, Forging Futures’ partner organisation The Forge Cafe is already making links with local education providers, offering opportunities for supported work experience internships for young people with additional needs.

A spokesperson for Forging Futures’ directors said: “Our mission is to provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for adults with additional needs.

“We aim to promote independence, enhance social connections, and foster a sense of belonging, while offering personalised support to improve overall quality of life.”
