AN ACCLAIMED duo will perform at the The Wurzel Bush Folk Club on Tuesday (January 29).
Mike Wilson and Damien Barber have a repertoire of traditional songs plus the work of modern folk writers such as Peter Bellamy, Ewan MacColl and Mike Waterson.
The Wurzel Bush Folk Club takes place every Tuesday night at The West Indian Club in Railway Terrace.
Instead of an entry fee, the audience is asked to contribute to a collection which goes to the performers.

TWO Rugby artists are showcasing their works at The Alexandra Arms pub in James Street.
Ian Roberts and Ross Edward, both musicians who perform in the town, create art themed around musicians, including portraits of The Beatles.
The exhibition runs until February 4.

Warwickshire Bytes – a project launched by Warwickshire County Record Office to put significant historical records online and make them accessible to everyone – is looking for volunteers.
Vistors to Rugby Library on on Thursday January 31 between 2-4pm can find out more, and learn about local historical events like the destruction caused by a hurricane in Rugby in 1846.

THE ROTARY Club of Rugby Saturday Breakfast is hosting a quiz in aid of the Rugby First Responders.
It takes place at The Railway Club in Hillmorton Road on February 22 from 7.30pm.
Entry, including a fish and chip supper, costs £9 on the door – or £8 if booked before February 15.
Prizes inlcude six bottles of wine for the winning team (maximum six people).
RUGBY Borough Neighbourhood Watch is holding an open public meeting on Wednesday (January 30).
Speakers will include Warwickshire Rural Watch, Warwickshire Fire and Rescue, and Warwickshire Police.
It takes place at The Benn Hall in Newbold Road at 7pm (registration starts at 6.30pm).
