NOMINATIONS are open for an awards ceremony celebrating Rugby’s best and brightest.
The seventh annual Pride of Rugby Awards, sponsored by Rugby FM, celebrates the success of businesses, communities and individuals across Rugby Borough.
The public can nominate across 15 different award categories, including Small Business of The Year, Citizen of The Year, the Community Impact Award and the Rugby’s Pride Award.
Steve Orchard, chief executive of Rugby FM’s parent company Quidem, said: “We are going to throw a spotlight on our area’s achievers.
“Achievement in many forms – brilliant business success, outstanding events, great teamwork, and those everyday unsung heroes without whose citizenship and selflessness this town would be a much poorer place.
“It’s our job to tell your stories and get you the recognition you deserve. In essence we are going to celebrate everything this great community has to offer.”
Nominations close on Friday March 22, with finalists to be announced later that month.
Visit www.rugbyfm.co.uk/prideofrugby to nominate, or for more information.
Winners will be announced at a black-tie awards evening at Coombe Abbey on Friday May 10.
