A MOTORWAY crash between a car and a lorry near Rugby has left one of the car’s passengers with a serious arm injury.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called to junction one of the M6 at around 7.30am this morning (Wednesday July 20).
Two ambulances and a paramedic arrived at the scene to find the 46-year-old man sitting in the car’s front passenger seat.
An ambulance service spokesman said: “The crash caused damage to the front nearside of the car. The man’s left arm suffered multiple injuries.
“The driver and a rear seat passenger, both men in their 20s, were treated for shock but were discharged at the scene.”
The injured man was treated at the roadside before being taken to the major trauma centre at University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.
The lorry driver was uninjured.
