Pedestrian dies after Rugby crash

A MAN has died after being hit by a car in Rugby.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the crash with a silver BMW 320D estate on Crick Road around 2.30am on Saturday (March 21).

The victim – in his early 40s – was pronounced deceased at the scene. His next of kin has been informed.

Road closures were in place while emergency crews attended the scene.




Anyone who witnessed the crash should call 101 quoting incident number 40 of March 21.
