Police appeal for information after theft from lorry near Lutterworth

POLICE are appealing for information after a reported theft from a lorry near Lutterworth.

A curtain-sided lorry was cut open when parked in a layby on the A4304 Lutterworth Road near Walcote between 8pm on Wednesday February 17 and 6am on Thursday February 18.

A substantial amount of goods were stolen, including parts for Tesla cookers.

Det Cons Nick Cox said: “We would like to hear from anyone who has dash-cam footage from the area on the night of the incident.




“Or anyone who may have driven along Lutterworth Road that night and might have seen anything suspicious.”

Anyone with information is asked to call Leicestershire Police on 101, quoting reference 21*96871.
