Police appeal for witnesses after cyclist injured in crash

POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a crash near Rugby last month in which a cyclist was injured.

The incident, described by police as a ‘serious collision’, took place on the Straight Mile B4453 at the junction with the Blue Boar flyover at around 5.30pm on Thursday September 12.

The cyclist was taken to hospital by ambulance.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage from the area is asked to visit www.warwickshire.police.uk/ro/report or call police on 101, quoting incident number 279 of September 12.
