Police arrest two women in connection with car key burglaries in Rugby

TWO women have been arrested in Rugby on suspicion of car key burglaries.

A 32-year-old woman from Rugby was taken into custody on suspicion of conspiracy to commit car key burglaries on Thursday August 25.

Police officers spotted a BMW they suspected to be stolen close to a home on Heather Close – and following further investigations near the property, a Ford transit van, also thought to be stolen, was seized by officers.

Another woman, 43, was also arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to be concerned in the involvement of car key burglaries.




The pair have been bailed until the beginning of October while investigations continue.
