A CANNABIS farm has been found in Bilton by police.

Officers seized 39 cannabis plants when they raided a house in Freemantle Road on Wednesday morning (August 17).

A 38-year-old man from Rugby was arrested on suspicion of production of cannabis and bailed until the end of September while investigations continue.

The warrant was part of Operation Guardian, a police initiative targeting criminal gangs, drugs and violence in Rugby which led to

29 arrests and the seizure of £62,000 worth of drugs and cash in just one month.
