THOUSANDS of pounds worth of class A substances have been seized by police from a ‘drugs factory’ in Brownsover.

Police arrested the flat’s owner, a 41-year-old man, at a house in Long Lawford on Friday (August 7), where they found several wraps that were believed to be heroin and crack cocaine.

His home in Wykeham House, Brownsover was then searched, where officers seized a large quantity of class A drugs worth £5,000-£6,000, as well as items used in preparing drugs.

Police said the flat was “consistent with a drugs factory on a commercial supply basis”.

A 21 year old Birmingham man was also arrested at the flat for being concerned in the supply of class A drugs.

The two suspects are currently on police bail pending further enquiries.

Any members of the public concerned about drugs can call police on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
