POLICE are appealing for information after a woman was assaulted in Rugby.
The victim in her 40s suffered injuries to her face during the attack in Overview Way at around 6.15am on Saturday (July 18).
Witnesses report seeing a man push the woman to the floor and then kick her.
Police believe a large number of people were nearby waiting for a lift following the night shift at Hermes.
They are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed the incident or has any information that could help police with their enquiries.
