POLICE are seeking witnesses to an alleged assault in a Lutterworth supermarket car park which left a man with a head injury.
It was reported to police that a dispute between two drivers took place outside Aldi in Rugby Road between 8.30am and 9.30am on Wednesday May 1.
A confrontation is alleged to have taken place between the two men, during which it is reported that one of the men was pushed over, sustaining a head injury.
The man, in his 50s, was taken to hospital for treatment and has since been discharged.
Det Cons Katie Burn is appealing for witnesses to come forward.
She said: “It is important we look to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident so I would like to speak to anyone who saw the events leading up to it or incident itself.
“If you have any information, including any dash cam footage, and haven’t as yet spoken to police, please get in touch.”
