Police seek witnesses to fatal M6 crash

A FATAL crash took place on the M6 between Rugby and Coventry at the weekend.

Two HGV lorries, two vans and two cars collided on the M6 northbound between junction one for Rugby and junction two for Coventry, just after 6am on Saturday (December 12).

A man in his 40s suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two other men, both in their 30s, suffered injuries to their face and chest and were taken to hospital. Their injuries were not thought to be life threatening or life changing.




Investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances surrounding the collision.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has dash-cam footage of it is asked to call police on 101 quoting incident number 68 of December 12.
