A SUSPECTED drug-driver was sniffed out by police after they stopped him for a traffic offence in Dunchurch Road yesterday afternoon (Monday September 13).
After suspecting they smelt cannabis, the officers searched the car and seized a quantity of the drug.
The driver, 27-year-old man from Rugby, was arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis with intent to supply and driving under the influence of cannabis.
He was later released under investigation while enquiries continue.
