RUGBEIANS are going to the polls today (Thursday May 5) to elect councillors to Rugby Borough Council.
Candidates will contest 14 seats – a third of the total.
The Conservative group currently controls the council with 24 councillors. The Liberal Democrat group is the opposition party with nine councillors, while the Labour group has eight seats on the council.
Polls are now open, and will close at 10pm.
