POST Office services have returned to Pailton and Long Lawford, after a delay due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Post Office opened hosted outreach services in both villages yesterday (Thursday September 10).
The services were due to open in March but were delayed by the Coronavirus outbreak.
The Pailton service operates from Pailton Village Hall in Lutterworth Road every Thursday from 12.30am-2.30pm.
The Long Lawford service will temporarily operate from Long Lawford Methodist Church in School Street every Thursday from 10am-12noon, while the Post Office looks for a permanent venue.
Both venues will offer a wide range of Post Office products and services. The operator will be the Postmaster for Woodloes Park.
Post Office area network change manager Matt Wilkes said: “We are pleased that the Postmaster for Woodloes Park can provide these service for Pailton and Long Lawford. We know the community will welcome this news.”
