THE PUBLIC will be invited to find out more about their local hospitals at the annual general meeting (AGM) of University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) NHS Trust at St Cross hospital on Thursday (July 26).
At the meeting the Trust, which also runs University Hospital in Coventry, will look back at some of the biggest achievements over the last year, as well as some of the challenges it faced.
The Trust Board will also look at its plans for 2018-19, including a new Complex Sleep Studies Unit at St Cross, which is due to open soon.
Chief Executive Officer Professor Andy Hardy said: “I look forward to meeting with patients and members of the public at our AGM, and updating them on some of the achievements over the last year.
“While we have continued to face challenges, our staff have shown a commitment to delivering world-class care and improving the experience for all our patients.”
Following the review of the year, there will be an open Q&A session and a chance to speak with senior staff.
The AGM will take place in the Outpatients department at St Cross from 5-6:30pm on Thursday (July 26).
