ENGLAND may have bowed out of the World Cup with a whimper, but children from The Revel Primary School showed their own prowess with a football when they kicked off their annual sports week.
The kids took part in sporting activities throughout the week with various coaches running free sports sessions that as well as the beautiful game also included Impact Dance, military fitness circuits and hotshots basketball.
And the day before England’s fate was all but confirmed with a defeat to Uruguay, the children warmed up their shooting skills with a penalty shoot – a sponsored event to raise money for the school.
