REFORM has become the largest party at Warwickshire County Council (WCC) following the local elections.
The party won 23 seats on the council – just six short of an overall majority – having begun the day with none.
The Conservatives have lost control of the council, having dropped from 41 seats down to just nine.
The Liberal Democrats are now the second largest party at WCC with 14 seats, up from the previous five.
The Green Party now has seven seats, having gained four.
Labour lost three seats, leaving them with just three councillors at WCC.
The Whitnash Residents’ Association remains on one seat.
The council now enters a period of no overall control, having been led by the Conservatives since 2017.
