‘DELIGHTED’ staff and residents of a Rugby care home set up stall at Draycote Water to raise money for local charities.
Overslade House staff and residents sold books, knitted toys, bags and purses to raise money for Children with Cancer and the Alzheimer’s Association.
Residents Dot, Carol and Resident Ambassador Ann came along to help, Deputy Mayor Simon Ward stopped by for a chat, and residents handed out goodie bags and balloons to children.
Carol said: “It has been lovely to see all the children and we are so happy to be raising money for charities close to our hearts.”
Overslade House will be holding a Christmas Fayre on December 20 to raise more money. All are welcome.
