BUDDING stage stars from Rugby College helped spread festive cheer throughout seven local schools with a theatre roadshow.
Performing arts students from the college performed their brand new show Once Upon a Time – all about a brother and sister who find a magic chest and go on an adventure through various magic lands.
The first year arts pupils also wrote and produced the show, as well as composing the musical numbers and designing and creating the set.
Lecturer Hayley Glover said: “We’re really proud of all the students. They put so much work into this and it all paid off with fantastic performances. It was so lovely to see all the pupils joining in with all the audience participation and we’ve had great feedback from the schools.
“The show is all part of their Level 3 UAL Extended Diploma in Performing Arts, so they will be assessed on it, but also it gives them invaluable experience of performing to an audience.”
