Rugby equestrian business celebrates awards

AN EQUESTRIAN business in Rugby has been recognised for its dedicated service.

Tower Farm Saddlers has been operating for over 40 years selling horse wear and equipment, and providing advice on horse care.

And the award-winning service was shortlisted – among 300 entries – for the Retailer of the Year, as part of the 2018 British Equestrian Trade Association’s Business Awards.

The Barby Lane-based business has already won the category three times and has now made the finals a total of six times.

And this year is a double celebration as employee Charlotte Bilbie won the Employee of the Year category.

Claire Williams from the British Equestrian Trade Association said the standard of nominees was always extremely high and selecting the final few a tremendous challenge.

Tower Farm Saddlers was founded in 1970 by Henry and Prue Welton in order to meet the needs of their riding school customers. Both were farmers who enjoyed riding from a very young age.
