RUGBY High School’s GCSE students are celebrating after they all scored a minimum of five A*-C passes.
Top grades of A* and A were achieved by 73.6 per cent of all entries.
The English Baccalaureate – passes in English, mathematics, science, humanities and a foreign language – was achieved by 84 per cent of pupils. One third of students achieved at least five A* passes.
Head teacher Charlotte Marten said she was delighted for her students.
She said: “These results are an important stepping stone towards students’ ultimate goals and should give the girls confidence in their ability to learn effectively.
“These GCSEs are the tip of the iceberg and measure just one aspect of students’ achievement. There’s a wealth of activities that aren’t captured in league tables that have helped to develop creativity, collaboration, problem-solving and team working in this talented cohort of students.
“Congratulations Year 11 – you should feel proud of your success.”
