DRUGS with a value of around £8,000 have been seized from a Rugby man.
The 47-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled drug with intent to supply.
He was arrested after his vehicle was stopped on Railway Terrace at 12.30pm yesterday (Thursday April 14).
A quantity of drugs, believed to be cannabis and amphetamines, were found in the vehicle.
A further search of the suspect’s home uncovered more drugs and £7000 in cash, all of which were seized by police.
The man has been bailed until the end of May while investigations continue.
