SLAVERY charges have been levelled at a Rugby man.
Ermal Lushaj, 33, of Abbey Street, appeared at court charged with three counts of arranging or facilitating the travel of another person with a view to exploitation, three counts of holding a person in slavery or servitude, and one count of assault.
He was arrested following warrants at a hand car wash in Rugby and his house in Abbey Street on Wednesday (November 28).
He was remanded in custody to appear at Warwick Crown Court on January 3.
