Rugby man jailed after cannabis plants found growing in flat

A Rugby man has been jailed after officers discovered a cannabis grow in his flat.

At Warwick Crown Court, Joseph Delaney, 41, was sentenced to three years in prison for cultivating cannabis.

In December 2020, officers arrested Delaney and found two indoor tents full of cannabis plants at his flat in Rounds Gardens.

Det Sgt Danielle Bristow said: “We welcome this sentence and hope it serves as a warning to anyone who thinks about producing drugs in Warwickshire.”
