THE SUSPECTED rape of a teenager at Whitehall Recreation Ground saw the park cordoned off by police on Monday.
A teenager reported that she had been raped in the park at around 2am on Saturday (June 20). The suspect and the victim are believed to be known to each other.
A 24 year-old-man from Rugby has been arrested on suspicion of rape. He has been bailed to return to the police station on Wednesday July 29 pending further enquiries.
