Rugby residents aged 40 and over invited to book first vaccination jab this weekend

RUGBY residents aged 40 and over can book their first coronavirus vaccination at the Benn Hall this weekend.

The new vaccination clinics will run every Saturday and Sunday throughout May and will be open for all eligible patients – currently for anyone aged over 40.

The clinics, run by Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust, are part of the second phase of the national vaccination programme which will eventually see all adults aged 18 and over being offered a vaccine.

Local people have a choice on whether to get their vaccine in the town or to travel to a large vaccination site.

Call 0300 303 1919 (Monday-Friday, 9am-6pm) to book a vaccination at the Benn Hall, or call 119 to book at the large vaccination sites at Stoneleigh or Fosse Park.
