Snake theft sparks police appeal

SNAKES amounting to £20,000 have been stolen from a shop in Rugby.

The burglary happened at Rugby Reptiles between 6:15pm on Tuesday November 4 and 9:15am the next morning.

The offenders forced entry into the Hillmorton Road shop and stole a number of high value snakes, 12 vivarium tanks and cash from the till.

Police are appealing for witnesses of the event or any suspicious activity at the time to get in touch.




Anyone who has seen snakes being sold in the area should contact DC 1631 Scott Fisher on 01788 856117, quoting incident 57 of Wednesday November 5.
