ST GEORGE is preparing to ride into Rugby.
England’s patron saint will be joining a day of fun and games in High Street and Sheep Street on Saturday April 21.
There will be a chance to have a patriotic face paint, together with Punch and Judy, a bouncy castle, pets corner, woodcraft, and a bike display.
Aftab Gaffar, managing director of Rugby First, said: “Events such as this are becoming increasingly important to the town centre. They create a lot of interest helping to raise the profile of the town, increase footfall, generate spend and attract new visitors.
“Many of these visitors will also take the opportunity to do some shopping and eat out which again all helps boost the town centre economy.”
