STAFF from Amazon’s Rugby fulfilment centre tried out the soft play area at a children’s centre when they visited to hand over a £1,000 donation.
The donation, part of the online retailer’s community programme, will fund 34 therapy sessions at Tiny Tim’s Children’s Centre in Coventry.
Tiny Tim’s centre manager Sarah Hemings said: “I want to extend a huge thank you to the team from Amazon. This donation helps us to fulfil a very real need in the community and will help to positively impact so many young lives.”
Tiny Tim’s provides complementary treatments to children and young people with disabilities, health problems and special needs. It has provided over 3,500 treatments and 2,100 therapeutic play sessions each year since opening in 1997.
