STOLEN property from a spate of thefts in Hillmorton has been recovered by police after they arrested two new suspects.
Two men, aged 17 and 18, have been arrested on suspicion of numerous offences in connection with the thefts, the first of which were reported in Hillmorton overnight on August 4-5.
It follows the arrest of an 18-year-old man on August 5.
A Rugby Police spokesperson said: “As a result of people reporting their crimes, it has allowed police to gain some valuable lines of enquiry which led to the arrest of these two further suspects.
“It is a great example of the community working together with the police.
“As a result of these arrests, a number of stolen items have been recovered and returned to their rightful owners.
“However some items are still outstanding and police need your help in identifying them.”
Visit www.facebook.com/RugbyPolice for more information about the items, which include jewellery, keys, sunglasses, headphones and a portable speaker.
Email [email protected] or call 101 if you recognise any of the items.
