A HOME in Stretton-under-Fosse has been burnt to the ground in a suspected burglary and arson attack.

Officers are appealing for any witnesses who may have seen any suspicious activity or vehicles at Hillcrest Farm, Fosse Way, Stretton-under-Fosse between 6pm and 10pm on Tuesday December 4.

Two motorbikes – a black Harley Heritage Motorcycle and a black and silver Harley Fatboy 4W Drive – were stolen, and police are also appealing for sightings of these.

The farm house is on the left hand side of the Fosse Way B4455, just over the M6 motorway bridge when travelling towards Stretton-under-Fosse. The house is set back around eight metres from the roadside.

Police believe the house was broken into before being set on fire.

Contact Warwickshire Police on 101 quoting incident 441 of December 4, asking for PSI 5132 Ian Stockwell of Rugby CID.
