Suspected dealers arrested following New Bilton drugs raid

SUSPECTED drug dealers have been arrested after a police raided a house in Bridget Street.

Officers from Rugby Proactive CID found ‘a large quantity’ of suspected Class A drugs and cannabis, and a ‘substantial sum’ of cash during the raid in the early hours of Thursday morning (January 20).

Two men, a 37-year-old from Rugby and a 31-year-old from Coventry, were found inside and arrested on suspicion of drug possession with intent to supply. Both were later released on bail and remain under investigation.
