A SUSPECTED drug deal carried out in broad daylight led police to arrest a man.
Officers from Rugby’s Proactive CID team witnessed the reported drug deal while on patrol in Railway Terrace at 12.15pm on Thursday November 17.
They searched a nearby address in Omega Place where suspected Class A drugs, cash and other drug-related paraphernalia were seized.
A 49-year-old man from Rugby was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a controlled drug.
He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
